Recently my family went on a marathon road trip from Atlanta to Saratoga Springs, N.Y. This was 16+ hour trip, driving through the night on both legs of the trip with an 8 year old, two year old and six week old in tow. When not engaged in hours of Dora the Explorer, Sesame Street and various Disney films (thank God for TVs in cars), we did manage to listen to a little music along the way. Over the years I have developed an extensive play list of travel related tunes to help keep me awake and energized on road trips. Here are some of my all time favorites:
