In light of the 50 Shades of Gray world we live, a Christian romance novel many seem, we'll, unromantic- even boring. During Valentines week, I read one in a series of novels by Christian author Robin Lee Hatcher. Betrayal, set in the 1890s, is a honest and sweet story of two hurting and untrusting hearts finding one another and learning to find love again. The story brings readers into the minds of the characters showing how they struggle in their Christian walk in very relatable ways as they overcome the challenges of farm life and begin to have feelings for one another. I found this a nice read that I would feel comfortable sharing with my soon-to-be teenage daughter when she is just a little older. It is refreshing to find that you can enjoy a romance without all the graphic descriptions of physical relations you typically find.
Good news! Sheran Memories is now on Facebook and I am celebrating with a giveaway! Like my page and be entered to win Robin Lee Hatchers Belonging and Betrayal. Winner to be announced on Friday.
I received this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
